It's good with clear photos of common household pests, but it can be wrong, especially with blurry shots or close lookalikes. When confidence is low, it says so. For anything that could be a termite or a venomous spider, treat the answer as a first look and have it checked in person.
How do I get the best result?
Use a clear, well-lit, close-up photo with the bug centered. Adding your city helps narrow down what's common where you live.
What is the home map?
It shows which pests are commonly active in each part of a home in any month of the year (for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware), so you know what to watch for and where to look.
